How to Recognize Bold Curtains

Bold curtains are usually easy to spot in a room because they make an impact! This could be through a bold pattern or bright solid colors used as curtains to add visual interest to the room. If you prefer a more muted space, a patterned curtain should be your go-to.

Fun Facts:

Did you know that the first curtains were introduced in the 15th Century?! This was to the homes of the rich during this time. Before this, textiles were used on beds and as wall hangings but not specifically draped at windows.

In Ancient Egypt, evidence shows that animal hides were used as curtains over doorways.

Nowadays curtains are used in almost every home! They provide privacy when needed, filter or block light during the night, and provide an additional piece of decor to any room. Curtains can really finish a space off by providing pattern and color.
