1. Elegant and Elevated

First up – one of our favorite bathrooms to date! – is this elegant and elevated primary bathroom.

The space features a soaking bathtub for the homeowners to enjoy relaxing spa evenings. Surrounding the tub is a tile pattern designed by our lead designer, Heather Mastrangeli, for added elegance and class. Marble mosaic flooring seamlessly blends the bathtub area with the rest of the bathroom.

Throughout this primary bathroom, we selected soft tones to evoke a calming and relaxed feel, while simultaneously bringing elegance into it too. The wallpaper pattern for example, is serene and calm! Yet adds visual interest and calms the mind during hectic mornings.

Additional lighting was installed in this project: feature lighting, wall sconces, and overhead lighting. We recessed an LED strip up into the ceiling to add a modern touch to the space and provide extra lighting to accent the wallpapered wall. The wall sconces illuminate the vanity area perfectly while adding to the overall elegance of the space! And the overhead lighting doubles up as an exhaust fan.

To finish this primary bathroom off we installed a woven shade at the window to provide privacy for our clients. This actually polishes off the space perfectly!

2. Funky and Full of Personality

While you may be initially thinking, “How can a primary bathroom be funky yet luxurious at the same time?” This project sure delivered on that! This primary bath is funky and full of personality – here’s some insight on how we did it!

We created a luxurious walk-in shower that features a large rain shower, and body sprays to create that spa-like experience in the shower. There is a valve close to the door so you don’t get wet when turning it on! This adds to the functionality of the whole bathroom – it just works.

The client wanted low-maintenance finishes, so we chose porcelain and ceramic tiles which come together beautifully to create a stunning aesthetic without the high care level of natural stone.

Other luxurious features include a towel warmer, a separate toilet room, a walk-in closet off the bathroom, and lux shower plumbing. The customized lighting finishes everything off to provide good general lighting and personalized lighting around the vanity for grooming.

Lastly, to add personality and funkiness to the space, we used a funky wallpaper that wraps around the space. The colorful accessories interject personality into the space as well.

3. Beautiful Serene Blue

A personal favorite of mine is this beautifully serene blue primary bathroom!

This primary bathroom features a large his and hers vanity unit. This was custom-made for the space, as it’s an expansive bathroom! The clients wanted their own storage areas, yet feeling together at the same time. The large double vanity provides a huge amount of storage for each person. There is also a separate toilet room.

Aside from the large blue vanity unit, the shower room has stunning handmade mosaic accent tiles that dance when the light hits it. This and the soft marble walls look great paired with the polished chrome shower fixtures. The small mosaic shower floor creates a spa-like feel to the area while bringing all the finishes together.

4. Classic and Clean

Ever wondered what a classic and clean primary bathroom design looks like? A black and white bathroom design, without the sterile feeling!

We leveraged the vast amount of natural lighting in this bathroom and created a large luxurious soaking bathtub area. Clad with simple white subway tiles, this helps to make the space feel larger while keeping costs down on the project.

The walk-in shower is definitely the feature of this primary bathroom design! We carried the white subway tiles through to the shower walls but created a feature strip of tiles down the main shower control area of the shower. To tie everything together we used black shower fixtures, and small black penny round mosaic floor tiles.

5. Timeless Spa-like Experience

Last but not least – our timeless spa-like experience primary bath design! The clients came to us wanting to modernize their space so we chose custom marble tiles to lighten and brighten the bathroom. We also replaced the vanity backsplash for a stone tile that had light detail too.

Adding a chandelier to the center of the room, this primary bathroom feels more like a spa-experience! We also solved their mold and mildew issues.
