Color of the Month | Benjamin Moore White Winged Dove
April is finally here, the birds are chirping here in Chicagoland and we’re looking forward to warmer weather ahead! So this month we wanted to feature an older project we worked on to showcase a slightly cooler neutral paint color than usual. While the trends may be on the warmer side of the color spectrum, this month we’re celebrating some of the lesser-known paint colors, and we’re featuring Benjamin Moore White Winged Dove (1457) as our Color of the Month!
Benjamin Moore’s White Winged Dove (1457) is classified as a neutral paint color, with a cool touch of gray. It’s one of those paint colors that everyone should have in their back pockets, as it’s truly a very versatile one. You can easily make a space warm up with this color, while in north facing rooms it will appear darker. This paint color can last for many years in the home when used effectively!
Pairs Well With…
Benjamin Moore Graystone (1475) and Providence Blue (1636).
We love how this neutral paint color pairs with deep and rich colors! For example, the deep and warm gray paint color works extremely well with White Winged Dove to warm up any space and add a contrast. However, if you prefer having more color in your home, then pair Benjamin Moore White Winged Dove with a rich slate blue like Providence Blue (1636) to create a balanced color palette.
Both of these paint color options create a sophisticated and well rounded color palette that works throughout the home. If you prefer a more neutral interior, use White Winged Dove with pops of Graystone throughout, and use all three colors in accessories and art work to create a dynamic space.
These are both great paint colors to use alongside Benjamin Moore White Winged Dove throughout the home!
How to use this color in your home…
Benjamin Moore White Winged Dove is the perfect paint color to use as a calming all-over wall paint as it compliments many other colors! While the color does have a calm neutralness to it, you could also use this color with a white or off-white too. This color works well in both light and dark rooms – watch the color come to life in sunny rooms while a more intimate and cooler feel can be achieved in naturally darker rooms.
Alternatively, it’s really easy to incorporate Benjamin Moore White Winged Dove into your interiors through accessories, curtains, and rugs. We love how this color is used with the “pairs well with” colors above!
