Window Shades
Window shades are simple yet extremely effective window treatments. They provide privacy when needed, or full natural lighting with their light and airy look and feel. We love to use window shades in kitchens and bathrooms to enable our clients to have privacy when required. Window shades come in many different materials and colors, from rattan to linen finishes; there’s something for every interior look.
They can be layered with drapery panels too!
Powder Room Privacy
For this powder room window, we layered woven window shades with a cornice to create depth and sophistication to the space. These window treatments completely elevate the powder room, and the self-welt on the cornice reinforces this.
The layering of these window treatments helps to make the window feel more proportional to the ceiling height by mounting the cornice above the window.
Drapery
The great room in this new construction project needed some thoughtful window treatments. We used simple window shades underneath tall drapery to give the homeowners the ultimate light control. The shades were used throughout the home, and using them in this large space helps to keep everything cohesive.
We love how the tall drapery panels make the windows feel larger, as we chose to hang them higher. These window treatments are swoon-worthy because they’re structured, yet casual to fit in with the overall look and feel of the space.
Dramatic Curtains
Sometimes a space needs something a little more dramatic than normal! In this commercial project, we wanted to create an inviting space with a luxurious feeling. With such a vast amount of space, we chose tall and dramatic curtains that filled the full height of the space. The softness of the fabric makes the area feel inviting, while the height adds drama.
