Color of the Month | Benjamin Moore East Lake Rose
February is finally upon us, and that can only mean one thing – a new Color of the Month! As Valentine’s Day is only a couple of weeks away, it seemed fitting to feature Benjamin Moore East Lake Rose (043) as our Color of the Month! This soft and elegant light pink paint color is perfect for the romantic month as we’ll start to move into warmer weather by the end. With inspiration from English rose gardens, this East Lake Rose has a slight antique quality that brings light to a space while providing a hint of color to the walls. Pair this with neutral colors to create an accent wall, use to up-cycle furniture or through home accessories, or why not pair this color with bold colors to completely diversify a space.
Pairs Well With…
We love how this beautiful East Lake Rose color pairs with both a light and dark neutral color! As East Lake Rose is a light pink color, it works really well as an accent wall in the main living areas of a home. You could also use this color combination in a laundry room, bathroom, bedrooms or kids rooms as a pop of color! Pair the color with Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace for the remaining walls to create a light, bright and calm atmosphere.
If you’re seeking a really bold interior that is warm, cozy and vibrant, then use Sherwin Williams Black Magic (SW6991). The combination of the East Lake Rose paint color and this deep charcoal gray shade brings energy and vibrancy to any space. This works well for bedrooms and living areas!
How to use this color in your home…
Benjamin Moore’s East Lake Rose is the perfect light pink paint color for either accent walls or bold allover wall paint. Be bold in kids’ bedrooms and playrooms by creating a soft, fun, and beautiful sanctuary for them.

Benjamin Moore East Lake Rose is of course the color of love, kindness, and compassion. It is largely associated with femininity however the red and yellow undertones provide more warmth, and therefore can be used with masculine colors too.
Make this soft color last in your home by using it as a feature wall surrounded by neutrals. Add this color back in through accessories to create a cohesive and “well-put-together” interior.
