Why We Love Sherwin Williams Pearly White!

Sherwin Williams Pearly White (SW 7009) is an extremely versatile paint color that we love to use in our interior design projects. Pearly White is a neutral paint color that helps to bounce light around the space. While there are hints of gray undertones to this color, don’t let this fool you! It actually compliments both cool and warm tones and textures.

Above all though, we love this paint color because it creates a beautiful timeless foundation to any home interior!

How to Use Pearly White at Home

Sherwin Williams Pearly White can be used in a variety of ways in the home. It is a great color choice for using on walls, but it can also be used for statement cabinets or trims depending on the look you’re trying to achieve.

Pearly White is a great choice for using on all-four-walls but make sure to pair it with a lighter, off-white or white paint color for the trims to make the color come alive. For smaller rooms, you can use Pearly White in a similar way if you’d prefer to create a cozy and intimate feeling space, however I would recommend taking the color to the ceiling and trim work to create a true cozy environment!

Use Pearly White in any room of the home, as either a feature wall or all over wall paint! This paint color brings a balance for other tones in the space, while adding a timeless and sophisticated look.

What to Watch Out for…

Similarly to any paint color you choose in your home, there are some considerations to take into account when thinking of using Sherwin Williams Pearly White (SW 7009) in your home.

If you pair Pearly White with too many other cool tones closely in a space, it will make everything look and feel too cold. Instead, it should be used with some warm shades to help balance out the undertones.

Accent Color Pairings

Sherwin Williams Pearly White (bottom right) pairs well with a wide range of other colors! Pair it with warm neutral colors like brown, beige, and red tones to create a balanced look. Sherwin Williams Jogging Path (bottom left) is great for this.

Another option is to pair Pearly White (bottom right) with a deep and rich color like forest green or an opulent dusty purple color. We love Sherwin Williams Evergreens (top left) and Grapy (top right) for this! Use a crisp white paint color for the trim and ceiling to watch any of these color combinations come alive!
