Bright Kids Bathrooms

Designing spaces for kids is so much fun, and one of my favorite types of interior design! Kids are full of creativity and their spaces provide a great opportunity to be more playful with design and really lean into their interests. One space in the home where you can inject some playfulness is their bathroom! I’ve designed a fair amount of kids bathrooms over the years, and love using bright colors and textures to bring the spaces to life!

In this Shop the Look feature I’m going to share my top tips and ideas on how you can create a bright kids bathroom in your home!

How to Recognize a Bright Kids Bathroom

A bright kids bathroom could be designed in a few different ways. It could be centered around a specific color, print or interest that the kids have. All of these routes can be tastefully done of course, through colored and patterned tiles, wallpaper, wall decals and interchangeable accessories. Above all, the kids bathroom is a fun and playful space!

The design of bathrooms has evolved greatly over the last 50 years. From hand painted tiles and colored bathtubs, to pristine all-white bathrooms, now we are seeing a huge surge in personalization and individualized design. If you need a bathroom space to relax and unwind, there’s a style and calming design elements for you! Or if you want to create a dark and moody space, there’s also elements to create that as well.

And there’s a fun and creative avenue for kids bathroom design too!
